Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Rozgaary currently uses browser and session technologies mainly for login, security and basic preferences. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, advertising pixels or email campaign tracking. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are enabled later, this Policy will be updated and appropriate user choices will be provided.
1. About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Rozgaary, operated by Glacian Technologies LLP (“Glacian”, “Rozgaary”, “we”, “us” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on https://rozgaary.com and related Rozgaary services.
This Policy should be read together with the Rozgaary Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains more broadly how we collect, use, share, retain and protect personal data.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website or service may place on or read from your browser or device. Cookies can help a service remember a session, keep an account signed in, protect against misuse, remember preferences, measure usage or support advertising.
Rozgaary may also use technologies that are not technically cookies, such as browser local storage, session storage, authentication tokens and similar device-side storage. For simplicity and transparency, this Policy covers those technologies as well.
3. How Rozgaary currently uses cookies and storage
At the effective date of this Policy, Rozgaary uses or may use browser/session technologies for the following operational purposes:
- Authentication and session management: to sign users in through email or Google authentication and maintain an active session for a limited period.
- Security and abuse prevention: to protect accounts, apply login-attempt limits, detect suspicious activity and maintain service security.
- Basic functionality and preferences: to remember interface or browser-level settings where the product uses such storage.
- Location-related functionality: Rozgaary primarily uses city/taluka-level location information. Map or geocoding functionality may use Google Maps services depending on the feature being used.
Saved jobs, applications, employer data and similar account information are generally stored in Rozgaary's database rather than being treated as browser cookies.
4. Cookie and storage categories
The table below describes the categories relevant to Rozgaary. It distinguishes technologies that are active now from technologies that are planned or may be introduced later.
| Category | Current status | Purpose / examples | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary / authentication | Active | Supabase-backed authentication/session data, login state and security controls needed for account access and service protection. | Session, until expiry, logout or security reset. |
| Functional / preferences | May be active | Interface or browser preferences such as selected location, display preferences or similar convenience settings where implemented. | Until changed, expired or cleared. |
| Maps / location service | Feature-dependent | Google Maps or related map/geocoding services may be called when location or map functionality is used. | Depends on the provider and feature. |
| Analytics | Not currently active | Google Analytics is planned but is not active as of the effective date. We do not currently use Vercel Analytics or Speed Insights. | Will be disclosed before/when enabled. |
| Advertising / marketing | Not currently active | Google Ads conversion tracking, Meta/Facebook Pixel or other advertising tags may be added in the future. No such advertising pixel is currently active. | Will be disclosed before/when enabled. |
| Anti-bot / CAPTCHA | Planned | Google reCAPTCHA may be added to help prevent automated abuse or fraudulent activity. It is not currently listed as an active Rozgaary integration. | Depends on provider and implementation. |
5. Authentication and Google Sign-In
5.1 Supabase authentication
Rozgaary uses Supabase as part of its authentication and backend infrastructure. Authentication information may be stored using cookies, local storage, session storage or similar mechanisms depending on Rozgaary's Supabase configuration and browser environment. These mechanisms are used to keep you signed in, verify your session and protect account access.
Rozgaary sessions are not intended to remain active indefinitely. A session may expire after a period of time, after which you will need to sign in again. Logging out may also end or invalidate the active session.
5.2 Google Sign-In
If you choose “Sign in with Google”, your browser interacts with Google's authentication service. Google may use its own cookies or account technologies on Google-controlled domains to complete authentication, maintain security and apply your Google account settings. Those technologies are controlled by Google and are subject to Google's own policies.
6. Hosting, maps and other service providers
6.1 Vercel
Rozgaary is hosted using Vercel. Rozgaary does not currently use Vercel Analytics or Vercel Speed Insights. As a hosting provider, Vercel may process ordinary technical request information required to deliver and secure the website, such as server or network request data, in accordance with the applicable service configuration and Vercel's terms.
6.2 Google Maps
Rozgaary may use Google Maps or related Google map/geocoding services for map and location functionality. Rozgaary is designed around approximate city/taluka-level location rather than continuous precise-location tracking. When Google map services are loaded, Google may receive technical information necessary to provide the requested map service. The use of cookies or local storage by Google depends on the specific Maps implementation and Google's own policies.
7. Analytics and advertising technologies planned for the future
Rozgaary does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Ads tracking, Meta/Facebook Pixel or other site-wide advertising pixels. We may introduce some of these technologies in the future to understand website usage, measure campaigns and improve marketing.
Before or when such non-essential technologies are activated, we will review the implementation, update this Cookie Policy as needed, and provide appropriate notice and user choice where required or appropriate under applicable law.
8. Cookie banner and preference controls
At the effective date of this Policy, Rozgaary does not operate a site-wide non-essential cookie-consent banner because it does not currently deploy site-wide analytics or advertising pixels. Some cookies or storage may still be required for authentication, security and requested functionality, and third-party services may use their own technologies when you choose to use those services.
If Rozgaary later enables Google Analytics, advertising pixels or other non-essential tracking, we intend to add appropriate consent or preference controls (“Accept All”, “Reject Non-Essential”, “Manage Preferences”).
9. How you can control cookies and browser storage
You can control many cookies and similar technologies through your browser or device settings. Depending on the browser, you may be able to view, block or delete cookies and clear site data such as local storage.
- Blocking strictly necessary authentication or security storage may prevent sign-in or cause parts of Rozgaary to stop working correctly.
- Clearing site data may sign you out and remove browser-level preferences.
- Logging out of Rozgaary ends or invalidates the active account session according to the authentication configuration.
10. How long cookies and similar data are kept
Retention depends on the purpose and technology. Authentication and session information may remain until the session expires, you log out, or the session is invalidated for security reasons. Browser preferences may remain until they expire, you change them, or you clear site data.
11. Third-party cookies and external controls
Some functionality may involve third-party providers such as Google or Supabase. A third party may set or access cookies or similar technologies on its own domains or as part of an integrated service. Rozgaary does not control cookies that a third party independently places on that third party's own service.
12. Personal data, consent and Indian law
Some cookies or similar identifiers may involve the processing of digital personal data. Rozgaary handles such personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data-protection requirements, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules brought into force under it.
13. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when Rozgaary adds or removes technologies, changes providers, changes how cookies or browser storage are used, or when legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on https://rozgaary.com with an updated effective date or version number where appropriate.
